CREATIVE EMBODIED THINKING

EXPERIENCE THE MORE OF WHAT YOU KNOW

PART TWO – FINDING NEW MEANING FROM OUR OWN EXPERIENCES

THINKING AT THE EDGE (TAE) STEPS 6 - 9

This is the second of our three part interactive online course. We will guide you, in a playful way, through the second phase of TAE (steps 6 - 9): Working with instances – personal experiences that feel relevant for the topic we are thinking about. We welcome participants of part 1 and those who have learned TAE steps 1 to 5 from another source.

Description

There really is life after steps 1-5! Have you gone through those steps and wondered how to get to the more after that? In this class you will work with experiences that feel relevant for your topic. More meaning emerges from each instance. And by applying a method called crossing, your understanding of your topic will continue to expand and deepen.

Our method is based on the philosophical practice, Thinking at the Edge (TAE), originally developed by Eugene Gendlin, founder of the well-known method for personal growth called Focusing. TAE is a structured, 14 step process and we will make it easy and playful. This class is Part 2, Steps 6 - 9.

After Part 2, we will offer part 3 - linking It All Together! In the third part you will creatively interlock your clearer words to form your theory. Next, by applying the theory to another field you will learn more about that and your own topic.
